Maple Sap Droplet
An old fashioned sap spigot in a very old sugar maple tree and the sap just keeps dripping on this first day of Spring in Vermont. It's hard to believe that it takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup.

Sitting in Dead trees along the waters edge is very coomon for Bald Eagles. This one was perhaps waiting for the sun to come over the hills or perhaps he was watching for a fish to swim near the surface of the pond.
