This deer stopped to talk to me as she was wandering on the side of camp road munchng on the leaves. I was in my car and she was by the side of the road and wasn't afraid at all. Seems she was used to the summer lake people who came up all the time. Her 2 fawns ran into the woods but she just kept watching me as I took several shots.

This snapping turtle was in the middle of the road so I stopped to see if I could get it off the road - took a while but finally a pickup truck stoppped and he had a broom and a shovel so we "helped" it move off the busy road. Obviously you cacn tell what she thought of us.
